Site work and renovation of a civil project in Greenway, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Removal and Replacement of the following: discharge piping from Cell #2 of the lagoon system, distribution and drain piping in existing sand filters, filter media (sand and gravel) in existing sand filters, and post aeration equipment. The project will also include the installation of a new tablet feed chlorinator. The project will also include the rehabilitation of Lift Station #2. Bids are requested for a single prime Contract. The Project has an expected duration of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials.
