Spring City Borough Council invites qualified bidders to submit sealed bids for the collection, transportation, and disposal of all trash for the period beginning January 1, 2023, in accordance with the printed specifications for the Spring City Borough, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Council will review the bids at its previously advertised public meeting on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, beginning at 7:00pm. Upon notice, the successful bidder will be required to enter into an agreement with Spring City Borough and furnish a performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit or other security in an amount equal to the total bid in accordance with the bid specifications. Council reserves the right to reject any bids, as well as to award the contract in the best interests of Spring City Borough.
