The University of Tennessee is seeking vendors for the installation of pine straw into the landscape beds throughout the university. As of summer, 2022 there are 19 separate locations within the boundaries of UTK's main campus. The installation process shall include trenching bed edges and making sure pine straw edges are clean and neat. Also, all loose straw shall be cleaned from sidewalks, streets, turf, and off plant material. Approximately 3,800 bales of long leaf pine straw were installed in the spring of 2022. We normally do two applications per year. One in early spring and one in late summer. The number of locations, bale count, and number of applications are subject to change at the discretion of the University. The University will not hold a pre-bid conference/site visit for this solicitation. Deadline for Questions : August 2, 2022
