Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Union City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of one (1) Base Bid and one (1) Alternate Bid. The Base Bid consists of improvements to 12th Street (from Central Avenue to New York Avenue) and Alternate Bid 'A' consists of improvements to Morris Street (from 12th Street to 14th Street). More specifically, work in the Base Bid and Alternate Bid 'A' includes the removal of existing curb, sidewalk, and existing trees, construction of scored concrete sidewalk and stamped concrete decorative band, shade trees, semi-circular granite block tree wells, concrete curb, cellar door replacements, resetting of window wells, installation of ADA-compliant curb ramps, upgrading inlets with eco curb pieces and bicycle safe grates, traffic striping, painting of various existing features, installation of light pole foundations and their respective conduit, vault repairs, full depth pavement repair, concrete filled bollards, installation of speed humps, and other improvements depicted in the Construction Plans. All work on this contract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Bidders will be required to comply with the public disclosure provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2.
