Demolition and site work for a water / sewer project in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the decommissioning of an irrigation pond located in West Richland, Washington. The irrigation pond is approximately 3.1 acres in size. The project will reduce the irrigation pond embankment height while making the final stored volume above natural ground less than 10 ac-ft. Also, approximately 400 wood chip piles will be spread out across the site. The orchard slopes west towards the northeast with approximately 52.5 acres potentially contributing stormwater runoff toward the current irrigation pond. The irrigation pond is intended to become a stormwater infiltration swale. Date of Substantial Completion: December 31, 2022. Date of Final (Physical) Completion: Within 14 calendar days following the Date of Substantial Completion. Last Day for Questions is August 11, 2022.
