Renovation of a laboratory facility in Richland, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The Work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary toreplace existing (6) coils with Battelle Furnished coils in the PS2 AHU which is in the basement of PSL. Including, but not limited to the following scope of work o Asbestos abatement of pipe insulation. o Demolish, remove and properly dispose of (6) existing 40"x 96" coils. o Prepare existing piping for new coils. o Fabricate and install (2) C15 x 33.9CS structural steel support bases and brackets for new coils. o Fabricate and install welded stainless steel drain pans to be installed below coils. Install 1-1/4" Sch 40 galvanized pipe from floor drains. o Transport (6) new Battelle Furnished coils from BRSW to PSL and move them into the basement. o Install (6) new Battelle Furnished coils and fabricated steel bases in existing location. o Install new automatic air vent with ball valve at and cap at each coil. o Install new drain ball valve with hose connection at each coil. o Install piping connection from existing piping to new coils. o Install pipe insulation. o Perform startup, testing and ensure proper operation.
