The City of Abbotsford invites tenders for JAMES WWTP Bio-Filter Media Removal and Replacement. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proponents to submit proposals for the JAMES WWTP Bio-Filter Media Removal and Replacement Project, including offloading the new media, removing the existing media, cleaning the structure to accommodate a condition assessment, carrying out any necessary structural repairs, and installing the new media. Removal and disposal of the existing bio-filter media ; Removal and disposal of the existing pea-gravel underlay ; Supply and installation of new pea-gravel underlay material; Supply and installation of new bio-filter media; Testing of existing piping; and Testing of new media and final clean up.
