Renovation of an educational facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,050-square-foot educational facility.
Pre-qualifying for Electrical Contractor Witherspoon Student Center (WSC), approximately 43,900 GSF, was built in 1991 with no major interior renovations to date. This project will partially address the building's current life safety code deficiencies. The project scope includes upgrading the fire alarm and emergency egress lighting systems, refurbishing the elevator, renovating 3,050 SF Room 126, and other upgrades as required by the NC State Building and Accessibility codes. This will be a phased renovation in an occupied building. Project Scope: The project funding through advanced planning is $52,500. The total anticipated project budget for the project is $1,500,000. Project Site: The project (building #081) is located at 2810 Cates Ave., Raleigh, NC 27607, Wake County in the Central Campus Precinct.
