Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Annapolis, Maryland. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes demolition of the existing pump station and related components and construction of a new suction lift pump station. The new station shall include, but not be limited to, installation of a precast concrete wet well, suction lift pumps and fiberglass enclosure, precast concrete building for electrical components, HDPE force main, equipment concrete pads, emergency generator, associated electrical and civil site work, temporary bypass pumping, all associated appurtenances, and any other work necessary to complete the pump station. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check, payable to the City of Annapolis, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must provide Payment and Performance bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid price. The City of Annapolis reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to select the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The time for completion for this project is five hundred, forty-eight (548) calendar days
