Renovation of a municipal facility in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 11,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The Village of Buffalo Grove invites you to bid on a roof replacement project at 50 Raupp Blvd Village Hall utilizing asphalt shingle roofing and EPDM roofing on a municipal building, approximately 2 stories in height. The project encompasses approximately 11,000 square feet. The Work shall be completed within the timeframe submitted on the Bid Form "Construction Schedule". The Village is an Illinois unit of local government, and the Work hereunder is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01, et seq. If the Contractor shall fail to complete the work within the Contract Time which shall include any proper extension granted by the Village, the Contractor shall pay to the Village an amount equal to Seven Hundred Fifty dollars ($750) per calendar day for each day past the Contract Time until final acceptance by the Village, as liquidated damages and not as a penalty.
