Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in John Day, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Proposals shall be clearly marked "West 7TH Street 7 Project" along with time and date of bid opening and shall be delivered or mailed and received before the above hour and date to City of John Day, 450 East Main Street, John Day, OR 97845, attention Corum Ketchum, City Manager. Work is to commence within 10 days of the date of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed by November 30th, 2022. The work consists of the following construction: Schedule 'A' - Mobilization, Temporary Traffic Control, Erosion and Pollution Control, Clearing and Grubbing, Sawcut AC, AC Removal, 1460 CYs of Embankment, 800 Ton 3/4 "-0" Aggregate Base Rock, 900 Ton of 1 1/2 "-0" Aggregate Base Rock, 620 ton of Level 2 - 1/2 " Dense -HMAC, 2026 LF of Standard Curb, 5619 SF of Sidewalk, 1600 SF of 4" & 6" Concrete slabs, ADA Ramps, Concrete Driveway Approaches, Concrete Speed Table, Conduit Installation, 975 SF of Block Landscaping Wall, Infiltration Basins, 10" & 12" Storm Drain Pipe Installation, and (6) Catch Basins. Additional work that will be awarded on a separate bid schedule consists of the following: Schedule 'B' - Mobilization, Compact and Shape Existing 3/4 "-0" Base Rock, 44 Ton of 1/4 "-0" Paver Base Sand, 5850 SF of Pavers. All proposals shall be made on Proposal Forms, accompanied by completed Bid Bond, Bidder's Certification Statements, Insurance Requirement Form, Employee Drug Test Certification Form, and First Tier Subcontractor Form (within two hours of bid closing). Once awarded a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and one hundred percent (100%) payment bond will be required to guarantee the faithful performance of the contract. Bidders need to be aware that City of John Day's office hours are M-Th 8:00am-4:00pm and that overnight delivery service is not always available in this area. The Contract is for public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. The City of John Day reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so, may reject any bid not in compliance with all bidding procedures and requirements, to postpone the award for 30 days, to delete items from the proposal, and to award the contract to the lowest possible bidder per each schedule listed.
