Renovation of an educational facility in John Day, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Grant County School District will accept sealed bids for the construction of the Grant Union High School partial roof replacement. The project will be a public improvement project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, Prevailing Wage Rates. The work contemplated consists of the following: partial re-roof of existing roofing with a new metal roofing system at Grant Union High School. The owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the contract for sixty (60) days and may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements on these solicitation documents and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner, that it is in the public interest to do so. The work contemplated consists of the following: partial re-roof of existing roofing with a new membrane roofing system at Grant Union High School. Location- Grant Union High School, 911 S Canyon Blvd, John Day, OR 97845. the scope of this project consists of re-covering the existing metal roof on the building presented by diagonal hatch shown on the site plan with new single ply membrane. Work should be planned to begin once school releases, on or around June 19, 2023. Substantial completion would be on or around August, 2023. Punch lists would occur between August 28, 2023. Final completion needs to be September 1, 2023.
