Site work, outdoor lighting and new construction of a water / sewer project in Eagle Mountain, Utah. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a water / sewer project.

The objective of this project is to design a culinary water well near the City's existing well #1 located in the City center. It is anticipated that this well will be capable of providing up to 3,500 gpm. Design of the well should be consistent with other existing wells currently operated by the City. Because of security concerns, safety measures such as security fencing and yard lighting will be incorporated in the design and construction of the proposed wellhouse. The well will be located in a future neighborhood so should be designed so as to minimize the impact to the surrounding homes. The well is expected to consist of a deep well system. The Engineer will make recommendations to the City on the type of pump and motor, drill shaft casing requirements, location of screes, pumping depth and possibly other criteria to be evaluated prior to the design of this well. Well design should include a masonry well house structure, pumps, motors, SCADA system, pump to waste, chlorination if needed based on pumping data, and piping required to connect to existing distribution system. Eagle Mountain City has asked Cascade Engineering to conduct a hydrogeological evaluation of the proposed well site which has been used to determine the preferred location of the well. Cascade will also issue drilling specifications, assist in drilling construction, and coordinate with driller. Cascade will provide drill logs to well design consultant and will coordinate with consultant on test pumping, samples, and testing. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
