LOCATION OF THE WORK All work under this Contract will be performed at the Wilkinsburg Borough Building, located at the intersection of Ross Avenue and Hay Street within the Borough of Wilkinsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The work under this project Includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment required for the performance of all rehabilitation as indicated in the Contract Documents. The work essentially includes, but not limited to, the following: (I) The Milling, Excavation and Removal and Disposal of ALL Paving and Base Materials to be replaced herein under this Contract. (2) The Compaction and Proof Rolling of the existing subgrade. (3) The Placement of Compacted 2-A Stone Subbase Material at the locations and depths as specified on the Contract Drawings. (4) The Furnishing and Installation of Compacted 19.0 mm Superpave Binder Material at the locations and depths as indicated on the Contract Drawings (5) The Furnishing and Installation of Compacted 9.5 mm Superpave Wearing Material at the locations and depths as indicated on the Contract Drawings (6) The Performance of all required Sealing and Hand Mopping of all appropriate locations (7) The completion of all required site restoration and landscaping. (8) All other related and required work and appurtenances. NOTE: All excavation shall be unclassified No extra compensation will be made for rock or other such excavation. The liquidated damages shall be Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per consecutive calendar days as a measure of liquidated damages the Owner will sustain for failure of the Contractor to promptly complete the work.
