Monmouth City Hall Bid Package #3 Monmouth, OR Swinerton Builders is requesting subcontractor bids for The Monmouth City Hall Project, a new Mass Timber Building located in Monmouth, OR. Existing building abatement and demolition has commenced. Foundations are anticipated to begin early September. Building construction includes concrete foundations and slab The project scope of work includes the design of a new approximately 13,200 SF city hall and municipal court building located in Monmouth, Oregon. The site is located at 151 Main Street West and is approximately 1.1 acres. The program of the building includes the two basic components of the city hall and the municipal court /city council chamber. Site scope includes demolition of the existing Monmouth City Hall, demolition of the existing Volunteer Hall, and site re-development. 1. The construction type of the building will be V-B. The use type will match the existing building as both buildings are business occupancies. The building risk category for the new City Hall building is Category II. 2. The total square footage, number of stories, and building height of the proposed City Hall fall within the allowable construction for a non-sprinkled type V-B building. 3. The new city hall building is designed with sprinklers to allow for code applicable sprinkler bonuses
