Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Monmouth, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of the following: Improvements at Monmouth Recreational Park - including new pathways, parking lot improvements, utility improvements, and miscellaneous landscaping. If contractor's proposal is accepted, contractor will promptly execute the contract, secure payment of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a Separate 100% Corporate Surety Performance Bond and a Separate 100% Payment Bond for the faithful performance of the contract. Qualifications: Bidders must be an established business (minimum three years) doing like projects and be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board. References: Prime Bidders must present three (3) references, including business name, contact name and title, phone number and email address, for projects similar in size and scope and completed within the past five (5) years. References must be included in the bid packet. Failure to supply references will result in bid rejection. A subcontractor listing is required and can be submitted with the bid. The contractor may be asked to have their Surety furnish a letter certifying they have currently reviewed the Contractor's financial statement and that the Contractor is financially sound prior to award. Contractor must comply with all prevailing wage laws. All construction shall be completed and accepted by the City by August 30, 2024. This includes construction and any final correction items upon City of Monmouth final inspection. Failure to supply a correct subcontractor listing may result in bid rejection. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Contractor who has not performed acceptably on past projects with the Owner, or others (this includes sub-contractor relationships). The Owner reserves the right to reject any Contractor who the Owner determines cannot do the project within the timeline or does not have the resources and financial stability to complete the project. The Owner reserves the right to postpone award for a period not to exceed 14 days after the bid opening; to reject any or all bids; to reject any bid not in compliance with prescribed solicitation procedures and requirements and other applicable laws; to waive any informality in a bid; to increase or decrease bid items depending on available funds; and to make awards in the best interest of the Owner.
