For Municipal Solid Waste, Single Stream Recyclable Materials, Single Stream Recyclable Materials including Flexible Plastic and Yard Waste. Question Deadline 08/22/2022 at 2:00 PM ET. All requests for information shall be submitted online electronically. No responses will be provided for requests received after that time or submitted by other means. Responses will be provided on the website and be visible to all Bidders. Any changes to the plans or specifications will be provided as an Addendum and notice will be given to Bidders through the website via email. Bids will be publicly awarded as early as September 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Wyomissing Borough Hall, 22 Reading Boulevard, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Depending on the value on the submitted bids the award date is subject to change at this time. Bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid for the three (3) year contract price shall accompany each bid. A cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond will be accepted, made payable to Wyomissing Borough. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total three (3) year contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of Bid. Employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, or national origin. The Wyomissing Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid that may not be in the best interest of the public.
