The City of DeSoto desires to operate a Minor Home Rehabilitation Program for low- and moderate-income DeSoto homeowners. The funding source for the program is the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Because the program focuses on minor repair issues, the total cost of repairs is limited to $5,000. The cost of accessibility enhancements does not count toward the repair cap. All repairs and accessibility enhancements must be completed in a workmanlike manner and meet all applicable local codes, rehabilitation standards, ordinances, and zoning ordinances at the time of project completion.
