Site work and paving for a civil project in Desoto, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
As of 9/23/2022, there was one bid received and was rejected. The contract will be re-let, however it is will be broken into two projects. One will be let in Oct and the other is TBD. The City of DeSoto (City) invites participation in the Request for Bid (RFB) for the experienced and qualified Contractor(s) for gabion wall construction, stilling basin construction, channel stabilization and sewer main relocation and sewer rehablilitation via open cut and pipe bursting and alternate bid to install sewer pipe by other than open cut. Proposal should include the cost of new gabion wall construction, construction of a stilling basin, channel slope stabilization and sewer main relocation and rehabilitation. All improvements shall meet the City's specifications. The Contractor is to supply all barricades and plates, in conformance with Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highway. The Contractor selected will be awarded a contract with the City.
