Renovation with additions and site work for the Route 66 Interpretive Center The existing 900 sf building located at 620 West Street, will be renovated as an interpretive center, to accommodate future interpretive elements by others. The building will receive two new canopies and will include minor exterior maintenance and repairs. The remainder of the site will be paved as outdoor patio space. The contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILSC 130/1-12). Upon award, the successful bidder shall be required to enter into a Project Labor Agreement with the Southwestern Illinois Building & Construction Trades Council, as specified in the proposal. The City of Edwardsville reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
