Renovation of a museum in Keystone, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
As of October 14, 2022, this project was awarded to RainTite Roofing & Construction for $183,763.89. For the replacement of the Keystone School Museum Roof located on 410 Third St., Keystone SD 57751. The work will need to coincide with a mason who is working on the chimney tuck pointing. This is to coordinate flashing requirements on the chimney. Museum Roof Requirements: Roof shall be a metal roof with a class A fire rating. The roof will be a minimum of Class 4 hail rating. The roof will have a 30yr warranty. The roof must also meet the standards of the SD State Historical Society. Ultra-high temp underlayment required. The mansard will need to be repaired. Ventilation of the roof will also need to be addressed. Replace gutters and downspouts. Questions can be directed to Cassandra at Keystone Town Hall 605-666-4827.
