The City of Rockford requests bids from qualified companies to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for any miscellaneous material removal, demolition, grading, and site restoration of the Lorden structure at Davis Park(Founders Landing 320 S. Wyman) and adjacent ramp, pavement and sidewalk and railings, as described in these specifications. Asbestos Abatement/Lead Paint abatement is assumed not applicable and all material will need to go to an approved dump site. Demolition Plan depicting the site layout are included in these specifications. Each bidder shall submit with his bid the information specified in the bid documents for compliance with the laws of the State of Illinois on Fair Employment Practices and with the City of Rockfords Ordinance on Equal Employment and Business Opportunity. Any bid which fails to include the compliance items properly completed will not be read and will not be considered. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The City of Rockford reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals and to waive technicalities.
