The Town is seeking the following service Phase 1: close off the Richmond Road slip lane using temporary barriers and install the all-way stop. As well as clear woody vegetation along the Richmond Road as noted to improve site lines. Tasks a. Install portable message boards on Richmond Road & North Road for Pre & Post notice b. Clear Vegetation c. Provide & Install 4 36" x 36" Stop Signs (with 'all way stop' on sign), 4 Stop bars & 4 Stop head pavement markings d. Provide & Install jersey barriers with reflectors or flashing lights to close off the slip lane approximately 170' e. Provide & Install jersey barriers west side of North Road (see Attachment A) approximately 40' In addition to the work, it is expected the Contractor will provide additional recommendations for the successful completion of the project: o Dig safe coordination and communication with utility companies as required; o Protection and avoidance of underground utilities, if needed; o Provide traffic control as needed to deliver and remove equipment, materials, supplies and waste; o Construction layout; o Clean and leave jobsite in a professional manner; o Removal and disposal of all waste materials; o Provide all communication, scheduling and coordination with Hinesburg; Temporary traffic control shall be in accordance with the latest edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
