Provide professional geological/civil engineering services to perform necessary work activities to assist the State move the Former Mercury Cleaners project site toward regulatory closure. The project site has been impacted by chlorinated hydrocarbons and petroleum solvents. For background information consult State Water Board Internet-accessible database system GeoTracker, case #T10000003411. In compliance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board requirements, there is a robust network of groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells and a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system in operation since 2016. The sites source area has been treated with electrical resistance heating and enhanced reductive dechlorination. DGS desires assistance to provide integrative consultation, logistics, and investigation planning services, to coordinate and conduct groundwater monitoring events for the existing well network as required by Order No R5-2021-0802, to operate and maintain the existing SVE system in accordance with requirements by the Water Board. All work shall be performed under and approved by a design professional, or contractor, licensed in the State of California. The estimated cost of contract is approximately $380,000.00 per year. The estimated duration of this contract could extent over five (5) years.
