Demolition, site work and addition to a detention facility in Blackfoot, Idaho. Completed plans call for the addition of a 10,170-square-foot detention facility; for the demolition of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The Project consists of the construction of a single story 10,170 square foot addition to the existing jail facility. The addition will include secured dormitories, day rooms, toilet rooms, control room, etc. Construction will consist of CMU (exposed for finish) steel joist and deck, conventional concrete foundations, membrane roofing, typical detention finishes, and MEP systems as required. The base bid will include an interior remodel to the existing booking area. The project included three bid alternates: (1) Public restroom remodels on two levels (2) Courtroom remodel, and (3) Veteran Services Remodel. All scopes are required at this time. CONSTRUCTION TIMELINE It is anticipated that notices to proceed for these work scopes will be issued by the Owner prior to August 15, 2023. Project completion will be per the published Construction Schedule. BONDING REQUIREMENTS Subcontractor performance and labor and material payment bonds MAY be required for the above-listed subcontractor trades (refer to Bid Form). Bid Bonds are NOT REQUIRED.
