Site work for a water / sewer project in Blackfoot, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of August 19, 2021, the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award not yet been established. For Replace Water Mains The work shall include labor and materials required for the replacement of approximately 2,700 lineal feet of existing 6" cast iron, pipe and fittings, with new 6" Schedule 40 PVC pipe and associated fittings, and connections. Existing cast iron piping and fittings to be abandoned in place. Bid is to include trenching, installation of new pipe, and all associated fittings, connection to exiting laterals, and water test flushing for a complete functioning irrigation line system. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. All work is to be accomplished within 28 calendar days from receipt of a Letter Contract and Notice to Proceed. Contractor may commence the work any time after receipt of Notice to Proceed and after attending a preconstruction conference. Failure to perform the work within the established time period will be grounds for withholding an appropriate amount of the compensation as damages for the delay
