Renovation of a medical facility in Blackfoot, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized as; replacement of heat pumps located at the Psychiatric Treatment Facility (PTF) building on the State Hospital South (SHS) campus in Blackfoot. The heat pumps have reached the end of their useful life. The project will replace approximately 24 existing heat pumps in the central core of the building; and, flush and treat the existing hydronic loop piping system. The scope-of-work also includes upgrading the direct digital control (DDC) system including the central boiler, cooling tower, and associated pumping systems; this will include all heat pumps and central boiler / cooling tower and associated pumping systems. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
