The scope of services expected to be required are design, permitting, bidding, award, construction administration, and construction inspection services for the improvements to be performed at the City of Melbourne's Grant Street Water Reclamation Facility. The improvements will consist of, but may not be limited to the construction and testing of a new deep injection well as well as associated monitor wells if they are required. The primary services being required by the City of Melbourne are hydrogeologic services. Therefore, the firm must be licensed as a Geology Business in the State of Florida. Secondary services are civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, and surveying as related to hydrogeologic projects. Demonstrated individual and company experience specific to large municipal water reclamation facilities that utilize deep injection wells for disposal will be given preference. Consultants must be experienced in providing evaluation, planning, design, permitting, construction administration, SCADA design/programming and project management services for the above-mentioned types of projects. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
