Site work for a municipal facility in Placerville, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The project work will include safeguarding a total of 49 features including 45 adits, 2 shafts and 2 subsidence features. Work will also install lock boxes on 2 existing grated corrugated steel pipes. Closure methods will include grates, corrugated steel pipes, backfill, polyurethane foam, bulkhead, and cable nets. Some features will include bat compatible grates or otherwise require bat exclusions prior to backfill or bulkhead. The uranium mine closure safety, health and environmental action plan requirements will be applied.
