The project consists of the reconstruction of two (2) tennis courts, grading, site work, subbase, asphaltic concrete, acrylic coating system, tennis court and pickle ball court lines, on asphalt concrete pavement, site restoration and incidentals. There is also a Bid Addition for reconstructing a basketball court. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percentum (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check or bid bond subject to the conditions of this contract. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the accepted bid as set forth in the Bid Form. These Bonds shall be in compliance with the Specifications. The Town of Rosendale is an exempt organization under the Tax Laws and is exempt from payment of Sales and Compensating Use Taxes of the State of New York and Cities and Counties of the State of all materials which are to be incorporated into the project, pursuant to the provisions of the Contract.
