This project funds replacement of the Southgate Bridge. This railroad crossing is structurally deficient and has exceeded its useful life. This project is included in the city’s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan. As of March 20, 2024, project design began in Fall 2023 and is expected completion is Spring 2026. A design team has not been identified. A construction timeline is expected for FY2026-2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
