The Belaire Avenue Extension project will fund an estimated 650 linear feet of road access and frontage; duct bank and utilities; high-quality streetlights; paver sidewalks; and street furnishings in keeping with what has been previously developed in Summit Pointe rights-of-way. The project will support Block 5 development including framing the main signature open space component of the mixed-use development. This project is included in the city’s 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Plan. As of April 25, 2024, per owner, the project is approved and funded, but has not entered the design phase. Therefore, there is no current estimated timeline on completion of the design work or construction timeline. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
