Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Burns, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Town of Burns invites sealed bids from qualified paving contractors interested in providing paving services in support of the Towns park parking lot improvements efforts at Municipal Park. The contractor selected will be responsible for performing all work and furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary pave a portion of the ballfield parking lot. For scope of work, the bid should include the materials, labor, and equipment for shaping, grading, filling, drainage, stabilization, curb installation, and paving of an unpaved portion of the parking lot. Bidders shall place their bid in a sealed envelope along with a bid bond and certificates of insurance. The outside of the envelope must indicate the bidders name, license number, expiration date, and that part of classification applying to the bid in accordance with TCA 62-6-119. Bids not conforming to these provisions shall not be opened. Each bidder agrees by the submission of his bid to commence work within thirty (30) days of the issuance by the Town of a written Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the work within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of the opening thereof. The work shall have a one-year warranty secured by a bond. Any bids received after the scheduled submission deadline will be returned unopened to the bidder. Fax bids will not be accepted.
