Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Wewahitchka, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of November 03, 2022, the award amount is not yet determined. This project includes repairs to Bridge #510004 located along Lake Grove Road in Gulf County, FL. Repairs include cleaning and sealing bridge deck and other safety improvements. Completion date for this project will be 30 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $882.00 per day. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All questions must be submitted to Clay Smallwood, P.E. at csmallwood@gulfcounty-fl.gov. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in the best interest of Gulf County.
