The Gulf County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from any qualified person, company or corporation interested in constructing: Howard Creek Boat Ramp Improvements The project includes the construction of two (2) 15'x46' prestressed concrete boat ramps, 250 SF of fixed timber dock, aluminum gangway, aluminum floating dock consisting of a total of two (2) 6' x 20' sections, concrete approach slab, 210 LF of steel sheet pile walls, concrete sidewalk and one (1) aluminum gangway located at 8090 Doc Whitfield Road in Gulf County, FL. Completion date for this project will be 120 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be $500.00 per day. Please place YOUR COMPANY NAME, SEALED BID, and the BID NUMBER on the outside of your envelope and include the original bid, plus 2 copies. All bids shall remain firm for a period of sixty days after the opening. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
