Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pomona, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; library; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.

These projects consist of energy efficiency upgrades throughout the interior and exterior spaces of the Pomona Public Library and Palomares Park Community Center. Some of the upgrades are needed due to equipment being past its useful life, such as: Thermal Energy Storage System (TES) RCx replacement, boiler replacement, interior and exterior lights, new sports field lighting controls, and new energy management systems at both facilities. The City secured the SoCalREN Revolving Savings Fund (RSF) loan in the amount of $1,539,211 with zero percent interest to be paid over five years using the General Fund. The loan is to assist the City with the upfront construction costs to enable the projects to move forward, and can be paired with other financing options such as On Bill Financing and incentives with Southern California Edison. Any unused portion of the loan will be returned to the RSF Program. Project is included in the City of Pomona's FY 2022-23 Budget CIP.
