Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hamel, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids should be labeled "Marty Graten Court Overlay" on the outside of the envelope. The proposed work consists of a bituminous on the North section of Marty Graten Court, and related appurtenances. Digital copies of the plans and specifications may be obtained at no cost upon Engineer's receipt of a completed request/release form provided by Engineer. Plans, specifications and contract documents are also available for examination at Southern Illinois Builders in O'Fallon, Illinois. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days of the scheduled time of closing bids. All bids must be made on forms furnished by the Village of Hamel. The successful bidder will be required to execute and present performance and payment bonds in a sum equal to the full amount of the contract. Bids must be for the contract as a whole. Illinois law requires that contractors pay the prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor. the Village of Hamel reserves the right to waive, or not to waive, any irregularities in the bids and to reject any or all bids and to determine which is the lowest and best bid.
