Renovation of an educational facility in Hamel, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Physical sealed bids ONLY shall be accepted. Emailed proposals will NOT be accepted nor opened. Owner acknowledgement of receipt of seal bid shall be confirmed with bidder. Bids received after the stated time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. It is the owner's intent to issue a purchase order for the switchboard, generator quick connect panel, & emergency generator as soon as possible while associated design is being completed. Upon completion of design, contract documents will be issued for bidding for an addition to the school which will necessitate the procurement of a new switchboard, generator quick connect panel, & emergency generator. The owner will guarantee payment of units, but the purchase order will be assigned to the successful bidding contractor for payment and installation of these units. The proposals will be evaluated to determine the combination of pricing and delivery schedule that best meets the owner's interests. The owner reserves the right to reject all proposals. Do NOT include sales taxes in the bids, as the School District is sales tax exempt. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding, and to award a Contract for any part of the Work or the Project as a whole.
