Bid Guaranty: Bidder shall submit with its bid either an original surety company bid bond on the form provided by the Owner, or a cashiers or certified check payable to the order of Clark Public Utilities, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid that could be awarded including any Additives and Alternates and excluding sales tax. For failure to achieve Substantial Completion of the Work within the time provided, Contractor shall pay Owner $300.00 for each calendar day from the date when Substantial Completion should have been achieved to the date Substantial Completion is actually achieved. The Contractor must achieve Final Completion within (30) calendar days following the date Substantial Completion is actually achieved.
