The City & Borough of Wrangell (CBW) Public Works Department is seeking quotes from local material suppliers for aggregate material for winter road surface treatment specified as follows: Sand- Sieve 3/8 in., Grading Percent Passing by Weight 90-100% Surface Treatment Aggregate. Material must be clean. Contaminated or recycled (previously used) material will be rejected. Quantity: 500 Cubic Yards. Delivery: The quote should include the cost per cubic yard of the material delivered to the CBW Rock Quarry on Zimovia Highway. Delivery of material must be complete no later than October 28th, 2022. The successful supplier shall coordinate delivery of the material with the CBW Public Works Department. A representative from Public Works is required to be on site to receive the material. Quantity Confirmation: The successful supplier shall submit truck load counts for material delivered. Each load ticket must be signed by a CBW representative at the time of delivery Award Notification: Quotes will be reviewed on September 9th, 2022 with the notification of award by the close of that business day.
