The City of Santa Clara Parks & Recreation Department (hereinafter "City" or "P&R") has established a goal to enhance community sports, recreational, and arts assets. Currently, the City's Capital Improvement Program includes plans to rehabilitate and/or expand the playground and park amenities at Warburton Park & Pool located at 2250 Royal Drive and Henry Schmidt Park located at 555 Los Padres Boulevard (the "Project"). Through this Statement of Qualifications ("SOQ"), the City is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide the following services in phases: a) Phase 1 includes community input, schematic design, and cost estimate for each park. It also includes onsite and remote community meeting(s), online surveys, and meetings with the Parks & Recreation Commission (PRC) and the City Council. b) Phase 2 includes producing Plans, Specifications, and Engineer's Estimate (PS&E), preparing bid documents, and assisting with pre-bid/pre-construction and construction/post-construction activities. Phase 2 is contingent upon the PRC and the City Council's approval to proceed after completion of Phase 1 services. Deadline for Questions and Objections: August 26, 2022 at 1:00 PM PST The anticipated term of the agreement is six (6) years. The City reserves the right to extend the term as may be required for the completion of the Project. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
