Renovation of an educational facility in Fort Collins, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Front Range Community College has received from the State of Colorado two funded Controlled Maintenance projects for the retrofit of the existing mechanical systems for Blanca Peak building on our Larimer Campus. The total budget for the two State funded projects plus FRCC cash funds is $4,364,000, see appendix E for the project budget. Blanca Peak Mechanical HVAC Retrofit includes the upgrade the existing pneumatic control system to a new ASI DDC system, new condensing boiler and boiler plant retrofit, replacement of all fan powered boxes, all cabinet unit heaters, all unit heaters, all duct heaters, and all radiant panels. Retrofit work includes the replacement of RTU's 1, 2, & 3 and ACCU 1, 2 and 3 or the replacement of all heating and cooling components inside RTU's in lieu of full unit replacement pending project budget. Finally, the Blanca Peak Mechanical HVAC Retrofit project includes replacement of the heating and cooling equipment inside Modular Buildings 1, 2, and the Bookstore Storage buildings. Front Range Community College intends to select a Design/Build Entity who will design, manage and construct the project as described within this RFP.
