This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by Loyalist Township (the "Township") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Bridge and Higher Risk Structure Review, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Bridge and Higher Risk Structure program will consist of the following three separate components: 1. OSIM Inspections Perform OSIM inspection and report for all structures on the structure evaluation list found in the appendix of this RFP. 2. Investigative Services Provide investigative services, detailed inspections and related administrative services leading to the provision of draft contract drawings and specifications, and detailed cost estimates for the rehabilitation of Amey's Bridge, Thorpe Bridge, and Menore Bridge, and replacement of the oval culvert on Wing Road at Millhaven Creek; 3. Bridge Maintenance Plan In conjunction with Township staff develop a comprehensive bridge maintenance plan consisting of annual maintenance activity, periodic rehabilitation and replacement of the structures identified on the structure evaluation list. Professional Engineer The Respondent will name the professional engineer responsible for each of the three phases above. At no time will any of the work described in this document be sub-contracted except for when highly specialized work such as concrete specimen laboratory evaluation and concrete coring etc. are required.
