As of November 1, 2022, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase phase. Construction is expected to start May 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: AGENCY: Department of Natural Resources Location: Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, Door County PROJECT REQUEST: Select an A/E consulting firm to provide design and construction phase professional services associated with the design and reconstruction of various waterline laterals and water fountain valves throughout the park. Historic maps will be provided to the selected A/E. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of replacement of approximately 1,100 linear feet of waterline laterals at campgrounds throughout Peninsula State Park. Lateral size and type varies, from 3/4 inch pipe to 2 inch. Additionally add approximately 45 valves to water fountains throughout the park, allowing each fountain to be isolated from the water supply system for future maintenance or line service. PROJECT SCHEDULE: A/E Selection Sept 2022 Design Report March 2023 SBC Approval April 2023 Bid Opening March 2024 Construction Start May 2024 Substantial Completion Nov 2024 Project Closeout Nov 2025
