Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Waynesboro, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The facility is located at 525 Wallace Street Waynesboro, GA 30830. The project is funded, in part, by a Community Development Block Grant. Contractor must not be on DCA debarred list and must comply with all Grant Clauses, Wage Rates, etc. The project must also comply with the Section 3 employment requirements (see CDBG Clauses). The HVAC systems will be Design-building with shop drawings submitted for approval. The bids shall include all Electrical and Plumbing required for an operational HVAC system. Addendums 1 and 2, from the previous bid, are to be a legal part of the contract and shall be acknowledged on the bid form as being incorporated into the bid. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman's Compensation Insurance will be required with The Burke County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured. The Burke County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Burke County.
