Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid. Lake County Forest Preserve District, in accordance with laws of State of Illinois, hereby notifies all bidders that the work performed under this contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond upon award of the Contract in the penal sum of the full amount of the Contract Price as described in the bid package.
