Site work for a road / highway in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
BC Parks is seeking a minimum four (4) person trail crew, including one (1) crew lead for the construction and completion of backcountry trail and rock work on the Lindeman Lake Trail in Sxotsaqel / Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park. Proposed work includes rock steps and rock armouring required at twelve (12) sections of trail identified in the attached Lindeman Trail Report. Backcountry rock work in these sections of trail will require sourcing materials on site, the exclusive use of hand tools and portable power tools, and should include the provision of bulk material transport to site via helicopter. In addition to the trail & rock work, this RFP requests the supply and install of two (2) new tent pads, one (1) new bear cache system, one (1) new information kiosk, and the supply and install of Gabion baskets to secure and raise Greendrop bridge, this work includes the re-channeling of the stream back under the bridge.
