This Request for Bid is to supply Hydrogen Peroxide to the City of Sunrise. Hydrogen Peroxide is to be used for combating the effect of existent Hydrogen Sulfide problems encountered in the wastewater system. Application will involve the introduction of Hydrogen Peroxide into the wastewater headworks treatment system by means of controlled metering pumps for oxygen supplementation. It is the intent of the City to use 50% by weight Hydrogen Peroxide as the feed chemical. Density, as established in MCA CHEMICAL BULLETIN SD-53 is 9.98 lbs. per gallon for 50% solution. M/WBEs are encouraged to participate in the bid process.
