A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Town of White Bluff, Tennessee (Owner) is requesting Bids for the following Project: Roadway Improvements for Old Charlotte Road The Project includes the following Work: Furnishing and paying for all necessary labor, materials, tools, and other items for the repair and resurfacing of approximately 1.81 miles of Old Charlotte Road, with the following being considered as Add Alternates: (i) approximately 0.10 miles of Spann Street; (ii) approximately 0.12 miles of Nash Street; and (iii) approximately 0.19 miles of Hatley Street. The Work covered by these contract documents shall include but not be limited to the following: labor, materials, equipment, overhead, profit, permits, fees, testing, utility location verification, traffic control, pavement markings, base stone, and asphalt paving courses. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Roadway Improvements for Old Charlotte Road Instructions to Bidders For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders and other bidding documents. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for sixty (60) calendar days after the date of opening bids. The Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Technicalities is Reserved by the Owner. All bidders must be prequalified with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). Roadway improvements will be constructed in accordance with the Town of White Bluff Subdivision Regulations and the current TDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1976, ITCA Title 62, Chapter 6. No bid will be opened unless the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the contractor's license number, date of license expiration, and that part of the contractor's classification applying to the bid. In the case of joint ventures, this information must be provided by all parties submitting the bid. No award of any contract will be made to any firm or individual that is currently debarred by the State of Tennessee or the Federal Highway Administration.
