The City of South Burlington is requesting bids for the planting of 25 street trees in the City of South Burlington Brand Farm Drive neighborhood and along Airport Drive. The City of South Burlington is seeking qualified landscape contractors for the replanting of ash trees along City streets in 2022/2023. Approximately 25 Green Ash trees were removed in the winter of 2022 and the stumps were ground. The trees were located on Blue Star Ln., Brand Farm Dr., Iris Ln., and Airport Dr. The city is looking for bids to replant on or near the vacated locations. Planting stock will consist of 2.5-inch caliper balled and burlapped trees. Planting can take place in either the fall of 2022 or spring of 2023 depending on tree availability, but all planting must be completed by 6/30/2023. Contractor is responsible for contacting Dig-Safe to locate utilities. Contractor shall provide irrigation as needed and warranty tree health for one year from the date of planting.
